The August 21st, 2017 Solar Eclipse, as seen from northern Kansas. This image shows the totality of the eclipse -- the moment when the sun is completely occluded by the moon. This is actually a composite of several images that I put together to deal with the extreme drynamic range of the light. I also colorized it a little to compensate for the mylar filter I used. The mylar tends to show very white light, but I just preferred a warmer tone for my images.
