2017 Solar Eclipse 01

The August 21st, 2017 Solar Eclipse, as seen from northern Kansas. This image shows the second "diamond ring" of the eclipse -- the moment just after totality ends and the sun begins to appear from behind the moon. The light cloud cover adds a bit of texture to the sky. The image has been colorized a little to compensate for the mylar filter I used. The mylar tends to show very white light, but I just preferred a warmer tone for my images.
